Aija Elina Nieminen is a multidisciplinary artist and a part-time detective.

Nieminen is interested in history, memory and old technology as well as dark humour, sinister narratives and performance all the way from theatre to the small performances in everyday life. Her research interests include comedy, satire and political art. Though a self-proclaimed lyrical genius back in her emo heyday in 2007, Nieminen currently focuses on writing sketches and short films, working with comedy as well as drama. Nieminen is the dream weaver and master of the macabre. She steals quotes from Garth Marenghi and occasionally feels obligated to write about herself in third person.
